SmartCaresMN is proud to announce the launch of CTSS (Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports) across Minnesota.

Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports

This program is designed to provide in-home, in-school, and community-based mental health services for children and adolescents (ages 0-20) who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges that interfere with daily life.

What We Offer

Our CTSS services focus on building emotional strength, coping tools, and social connection for kids and families through:

  • Skills Training (emotional regulation, social skills, communication)

  • Therapeutic Behavioral Aide (TBA) services

  • Individual and Family Therapy

  • Crisis Assistance

  • Family Psychoeducation

  • Treatment Planning & Coordination

We work closely with parents, guardians, schools, and other professionals to ensure a team-based, culturally sensitive approach to care.

Who Qualifies

Children under 21 years old
Covered by Medical Assistance (MA) or a Minnesota Health Care Program
Diagnosed with a mental health condition (via diagnostic assessment)

Why CTSS Matters

Early intervention in a child’s mental health journey is crucial. CTSS allows families to receive flexible, strengths-based, and trauma-informed support that grows with the child and adapts to their changing needs.

Where We Serve

We are currently accepting referrals for CTSS services throughout Minnesota, both in the Twin Cities and surrounding counties.
